  The 8th ISSA Conference on Argumentation

From July 1 to July 4, 2014, the 8th Conference of the International Society for the Study of Argumentation (ISSA) will be held at the University of Amsterdam. The aim of the conference is to draw together scholars from a variety of disciplines that are working in the field of argumentation theory.

The keynote speakers are:

Conference schedule:

The conference will begin on the 1st of July with a welcoming reception. The following three days, July 2-4, are reserved for paper presentations. The concluding dinner will take place on the last day, July 4.

Presentations and proceedings:

There are 30 minutes for each session: 20 minutes for the paper presentation and 10 minutes for questions. After the conference, the paper can be revised and submitted for the Conference Proceedings, which will be published on CD-ROM.
